Alpha Tools PSC-150 Miter Cutting Kit - 5480-5100
Alpha Tools Miter Cutting Kit comes complete with the redesigned and much-improved guide rail system with a new carriage assembly (ASC-6CSM) that will accommodate the use of the PSC-1500 6" Pneumatic Stone Cutter. This miter-cutting system allows you to make straight, cure, and miter cuts with just a few simple adjustments. With a set up of 2 stone cutters/carriages, you can cut a V, and the edges are ready for lamination.
Features
- Miter cut 3/4" (2 cm) material with ease
- One-time easy setup on the guide rail allows for two different miter cut positions for lamination prep
- Precise miter cuts for laminated waterfall edge or bookmarking
- The carriage has three templates included that assist the installation of the stone cutter for left side/right side miter cutting as well as straight cutting
- Single setup (1 PSC-150/carriage assembly), the guide rail need only be set up once on the material
- PSC-150 can then be positioned to create a miter cut, then re-positioned for a second miter cut to create the V
Included
- (2) Alpha PSC-150 Wet Stone Cutter
- (2) PSC-150 Standard Accessories (including 6" Eclipse II Blade)
- (2) 6" Carriage Assembly (ASC-6CSM)

Maintenance Tips
- Clean after every job: Remove stone dust, slurry, and debris from the cutter, carriage, and guide rails to maintain smooth sliding accuracy.
- Lubricate moving parts: Lightly oil carriage wheels and rail contact points to ensure precise, low-friction miter and straight cuts.
- Air system care (critical): Drain moisture from air lines and use clean, dry air at ~90 PSI to protect the pneumatic motor (2 HP system).
- Inspect blades regularly: Check the 6" diamond blade for wear, cracks, or glazing to maintain clean edge quality and reduce chipping.
- Flush water line: Clear the 1/4" water inlet system after use to prevent clogging and ensure proper wet cutting performance.
- Check guide rail alignment: Ensure rails (4’, 7’, 12’) stay straight and properly secured for accurate miter and straight cuts.
- Carriage calibration: Verify miter templates and carriage settings are tight to maintain precise bevel and lamination-ready edges.
- Rust prevention: Wipe down metal parts after use and store dry to prevent corrosion from slurry and moisture exposure.
- Air tool maintenance: Apply rust inhibitor oil periodically to extend motor life and reduce internal wear.
